Bod Pod Metabolism Assessment
the BOD POD uses patented Air Displacement Technology, instead of water, for highly accurate, fast, and safe results. The BOD POD also offers information on Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and Total Energy Expenditure (TEE) as an optional component of every body composition test. This data is provided without requiring the subject to perform any additional testing maneuvers, and a complete assessment requires only about 5 minutes.
A Metabolism assessment provides information on the body’s “Metabolic Engine,” or caloric intake versus energy used. Metabolism assessments which include Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)* and Total Energy Expenditure (TEE)**, along with an accurate body composition assessment, provide the information necessary to establish sensible weight goals. The fee for this test is $100. Contact Coach Dean for information about where to obtain Bod Pod testing.

Having a goal is the first and easiest step towards a healthy plan to re-sculpt your body or improve your energy. Until now, trainers have never had a way to assess a client’s unique metabolic “blueprint”…the way you store and release energy. Now, using cutting-edge scientific technology (indirect calorimetry) administered by a certified technician, we can test whether your body burns mostly fats or carbs as a fuel source. This means pin-point accuracy in troubleshooting your meals and exercise programs without guesswork, charts, fad diets, or wasted time and money. Programs that work are based on science.
